Schedule

Schedule starts on the 8th of January- During this first week I have conducted a large amount of resaerch on music magazine front covers, content pages and double pages. I also thought about what type of music magazine style, layout I wanted and overall what I wanted my music to be about. The research  I conducted had influenced my draft that I was planning of doing and in the longterm my final design. Also during this week I have created my blogger account, where all my coursework would be put on to.

15th of January- In this week I have started by creating my own survey monkey account and created my own survey to see what type of audience my music magazine had to be targeted, this would be analysed by the results I recieved. I recieved my results at the end of the week and I when I analysed my results I understood that my target audience was females aged 16-18 and that  the music magazine will be based on reggae and rock, also many other things.

22nd of January- From the analysis of my survey monkey results I have started to draw the drafts of my front cover, contents page and double page spread, which would give me a brief idea of how my final designs would be. I then updated my drafts on to my blogger.

29th of January - In this week I have started to take my pictures for my magazine which was based on my draft. I also started to design the front cover, contents page and double page spread of my magazine, placing all the texts on to it.

5th of Febuary- By now I have took all my pictures and have finished the text for the front cover and contents page but I haven't finished the text for the double page spread.
Now by the end of the week I picked what pictures I want to use and also by pushing myself and working on my double page spread text during my free lessons I have now completed that aswell.

12th of Febuary- This week I have started by applying my front cover picture which was very important. As the front cover picture is the first impression of the potential readers. After picking the image I applied it to the magazine and edited it on photoshop which is now complete and by the end of the week I have also added my content page pictures and edited them. Therefore overall I have completed my front cover and content page.

19th of Febuary- This week I had started and now have completed my double page spread which took me a bit longer than the other two, as I had to write my artists story and I had to correct its spelling and punctuality and also make sure it was relevent to my magazine. Therefore I had finished my magazine and now I have uploaded it on to my blogger account.

22nd of Febuary- This week I have only had to write my evaluation about my magazine which consists the reasons for my magazine decisions such as colours, pictures and text, it was very little work to do over a week. By the end of the week I had written and uploaded it. Therefore I was finished. My content page, front cover, double page spread uploaded and evaluation all uploaded.
